Under and Over Kitchen LED Lighting Advice (Color, Location, Etc)

Hello!

I'm finally getting ready to update my kitchen recessed halogen cans to LED and while the struggle between 2,700K (yellowish tint) and 3,000k (more whitish light) is more or less settled (think I'll go with the warmer light as my kitchen and family room is in the same space/room), I'm torn between the 3k light color for the under cabinet and over cabinet lighting.

As you can see in the picture, we currently have 3k under cabinet lighting, which is GREAT for kitchen tasks. However, if I'm going with 2,700k recessed cans, I assume I should go with 2,700k above cabinet lighting. Then I'm worried that it'll clash with the existing 3k under cabinet lights. Or if I install 3k lights above the cabinets to match the under cabinets, would that be too much of a contract with the 2,700 LED can lights??

Also, with the space above my cabinets, should I point the LED 45 degrees up at the wall or just shine it straight up from the front edge of the cabinets or perhaps straight at the wall instead?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you and Happy Valentines Day!
