Looking to replace siding and roof, grey tones?

Hi All, need help in selecting Siding color and roofing. Looking at Combo Certainteed Impressions for front / Mainstreet on sides and back in Granite Gray with Gaf Timberline HD Charcoal or Pewter Grey for the roof. existing pavers are in tan and grayish colors. Thx

IMO it's hard to go wrong with a gray roof. They look great and the neutrality allows umpteen options for other exterior color choices.

Not sure I understood...did you mean different siding colors for the front and back?

I would do whichever siding you choose all the way around the house, not have it two different sidings. Makes no sense to do that, when you are doing it all new. I actually think what you have looks very nice. Your house looks clean and well maintained.

I would lave the edges of the house the same color as the rest. I'd do a wine color for the door, but it's hard to tell, as your stratus gray and @Beverly's are quite different.

I've chosen Weathered Wood for my new roof -- I have that currently and think it also looks good with all sorts of color schemes without looking too monotone with any. As I am trying to decide on new siding I am looking around the neighborhood, and seem to strongly prefer silvery light grays (like granite gray) instead of darker grays, but the trim choice makes all the difference and will be important with your warmer stone. Are you planning to stay with white?

Cat_ky, Thank you. Just to have a different look for the front with the straight edge shingle/shakes by Certainteed and Clapboard siding around the rest of house.

I agree with a light gray for the siding with white trim. Nice with a gray roof and tons of options for a door color.

Looking to stay with white trimming and corner post also in white. I looked at sterling grey, actually tossed between the two. Leaning towards granite grey. ( Seagrass looks nice too).

Are you set on a shade of gray? Because I really like that Savannah Wicker. And I would choose Sterling over Granite -- I just like it better. But you really have to decide based on what pleases your eye the most.

I wish I could photoshop the different colors onto your house with a new roof.

Is the roof and siding in poor condition? If not, it looks fine as it is. Just re-landscape - those big old shrubs have got to go. I 'm assuming that perhaps this is a flip?

If you're planning to redo the roof anyway, consider adding front porch or at least a roof over the stoop and steps.

Decided to place stones in front of the house with a new portico, Landscaping and lighting, undecided now with siding color for the rest of the house to match with stones.
