Do living room accent chairs have to match?
Comments (17)I agree with everyone else, but I would add that although they don't have to match they should be similar in height or scale and should not conflict in their "flavor". By "flavor", I mean that, for example, a chair with modern lines should not be paired with a victorian wingback. That would just be strange. NONE of my chairs match and I love it. By the way, matchy matchy jewelry isn't a good idea either. "Complimentary" is the word of the day when it comes to jewelry....See MoreNeed help finding 2 accent tables for living room
Comments (7)I think you will have to be careful because that ottoman is very clunky looking with those delicate looking tables maybe something more simple with a bit larger legs would work, if you put an arc lamp in the corner behind the sectional , pull the chair forward with a lamp on the table at that end of the sectional add some drapes from floor to ceiling and some art it will be a nice space. IMO a bit more color in the ottoman could have been nice too . Use an actual color from the ottoman to choose fabric for the drapes.Maybe an end table like this beside that end by the chair...See MorePlease help me choose an area rug design/style and an accent chair
Comments (26)This is a pretty room with too much Hobby Lobby decor. You've got vases of sticks in display niches. Reminds me of a hotel lobby. Comments (10)I would get an upholstered chair with an ottoman, something like a club chair unless you want to go more traditional and get a wing chair. For sure, please don’t buy it on-line. Please buy something you have sat in and ideally something you have been able to look at its construction, turned upside down, etc. You might be able to score a second hand chair in excellent condition from someone going into an elder facility....See Moreeverdebz
