Hot Water and Filtered Cold Water Faucet
Comments (11)Lissa- I just had a Franke Little Butler installed three days ago and I can't tell you how much we love it. The reason I chose it was that I wanted both the hot and cold water to be filtered, and at the time I was looking, Franke was the only company that did this that I found. (I bought the unit last year, yes it has taken THAT LONG to get to where we were ready to install it). The Insta-hot brand filtered the cold but not the hot water. Anyway, the unit is not that big-- the heater is a rectangular cube about 11x7 inches. The filter (it is a Franke triflow filtration unit) is a cylinder about 11 inches high by 2 inches in diameter. However, I don't have a separate cooling unit for the cold water, since the temp coming out of the cold tap is good enuf for me. Also, my fridge has filtered cold water for those times when it matters to me. But the Little Butler filter, heater, and my garburetor fit very comfortably in the sink cab, which is 36" wide. As for cost, when I was looking these units were quite high, but I bought mine from an ebay storefront with 100% positive feedback for about half the price I was quoted in the snazzy plumbing showroom (can't remember numbers now, it's been so long). Hope this info is of use, good luck!...See MoreHot/Cold water faucet
Comments (0)I'm looking for a hot/cold water dispenser to hook up to my body glove filtered water system (can use any faucet). My main kitchen faucet will be Grohe ladylux 3 Cafe in the brushed nickel, and a blanco brushed stainless sink. I'd like the hot/cold water to at least match the brushed finish, though style similarity would be an added plus. Could you please let me know if you have one you like? If you have a pic, even better. Thanks....See MoreHot Water Dispenser Dilemma-Insinkerator or Waste King or EverHot
Comments (9)We are getting the Vertex bottleless water dispenser thanks to learning about it on GW. It is a filter and has both hot and cold water at the touch of a button. You hook it up to a water supply to not need bottles, so it solves the dispensing, filtering and hot water needs all in one (we did not "need" the hot water feature, but will prob find it to be handy). The only downside is it will take some counter space, but we plan on making it fit our plan because we could not find a fridge freezer set with water in the door in our price range. We have an interior icemaker and wanted to encourage filtered water drinking in our house over store bought pre-made drinks. I am guessing we will make more (unsweetened) iced teas with the simplified hot water feature.... Comments (2)@lesliet770 what did you end up doing? I'm trying to figure out the same thing. The Delta faucet Artic Stainless doesn't match the Insinkerator stainless color. My local store recommended going with a white or black Insinkerator. I will have a white kitchen with black hardware. The white Insinkerator might blend better with my light quartz countertop....See More- 6 years ago
