Only ones I've ever seen were at Walmart and other grocery stores. ..I haven't liked any of them in the past. But I don't care for donuts unless its a homemade glazed.

Shrove Tuesday in February is when most of the stores and bakeries sell them here. Although one International Market here sells them all year round. I like the custard one.

Polish. Thank goodness I don’t see them year round. But I guess they would loose their appeal.

Poonch-key is how to pronounce it. February 13 is Paczki Day this year. Definitely Polish! My last name ends with ‘skl’. I used to make home made ones when the kids were little. Haven’t found any good ones in the stores. People wait in long lines to get them. Most are jelly filled. We like custard. There is a bakery nearby that charges $3 each! That’s one expensive dozen donuts!!

I'm gluten-intolerant, so these are a no-no for me. But they look delish!

Wow, didn’t realize it was that time again already. I don’t eat them but my DH loves them and will usually splurge. Cherry or custard are his favorites.

I’ve never heard of them. But I’m not a big pastry eater so that is part of it. Not a big Polish population here either. Plenty of diversity of other countries and cultures. Maybe one of the specialty markets has them and I have never noticed.

Meijer sells them each year and that is where I get mine. I don't buy jelly filled all year long, just get some of the Paczki at this time of year. I like most all of them and they come in a lot of fillings and also glazed besides the powdered sugar ones. I don't think there is a big Polish population here either, but I am half Polish.

Brushworks, yes, Hamtramack is the place to go. DD used to work in downtown Detroit and could get some great ones.

I just went to the European Market today and bought a Lemon paczki. Windsor has a bakery - Blak\s Bakery that sells really good pazcki and you have to preorder them, people start lining up early in the morning. Much better than the coffee shop or grocery store paczki

I'm not Polish but I'd gladly become Polish for one of those!

I just bought four at Meijer with lemon filling. They look good but not like the ones pictured above.
