Glenda's giving me trouble...lol!
Comments (18)I've been having this problem for about two weeks, too. It's not just an AL "thing", especially not with Glenda's posts, per se, but on other forums, too. I haven't found a way to correct it, other than to go back to the previous page and try another post. Sometimes that works, but sometimes it doesn't! It can get very frustrating! What's REALLY driving me crazy is that when I try to connect to another page, I sometimes get the message that "Internet Explorer cannot display this page."; then the Internet connection is lost. I'm starting to think that this may be caused by my Internet provider rather than something on my computer--or something that I'm doing to cause it. Any suggestions or solutions out there? (I haven't gone to the computer forum, yet, that's next, I think.)...See MoreWorried about our Alabama people
Comments (28)LindaLu, I thought about your SIL when I saw some pictures of the devastation in Forestdale. I hope all his co-workers made it out okay too and I'm glad he and family are okay. There were cluster cells of tornados formed but not related to the F-5 that hit Tuscaloosa and north Birmingham. Twice last night there were 17 to 18 just outside of Centerville that moved through south Shelby County into Coosa County. CatLady (Judy) may have gotten some weather off of those systems so she may be without power or phone service. It was dark by then so the storm spotters live coverage was challenging. Hopefully, she and family are okay and spared damage or tragedy. Maybe some of the other Alabama peeps can check in soon with a first hand report and let us know how they have fared....See MoreWhere Miss Glenda??
Comments (14)Hey Miss Glenda...Glad you're OK...although i mostly lurk...(For many many years now) I do worry about the KT Peeps... praying for everyone that needs prayers, laughing at all the jokes, cooking the good recipes, ooooing at all the beautiful pictures, Crying at all the saddness, smiling at all the babies, and worrying about all the ones that go missing for any amount of time!! So you just ponder away and I pray that the decision you make is the right one....Thanks for checking in!! Cherie...See MoreHave you gotten your flu shot yet?
Comments (34)I just got mine on Wednesday. This is my 32 consecutive year! I don't miss it!!! But I have medical reasons, and it would put me in the hospital if I got it. "They" say that the flu really doesn't go away anymore, too many people live in air-tight homes/apts and offices that only recirculate their air....See More- 8 years ago
