Hi Robbi, it's a very sweet quilt and I like the idea of the baby stats on the big hearts. Perhaps you straight line a frame around each big heart with the baby stats and just FMQ a stipple design or vine and hearts for the balance. A heart and vine design mimics the overall design and fabric.

That's a very sure baby quilt. I love that striped fabric and the touch of green.

Not sure if you will be free-motion quilting or using a walking foot. If FMQ, I'd do a stippling or some easy filler in all the white areas. In the small hearts, I'd do a teardrop/heart shape to roughly follow the outline of the block. In the large heart blocks, you can do something similar but you may need two heart shapes to fill the block. See my very crude drawing. I'm not good at drawing with a mouse :-)

If quilting straight lines, use horizontal lines to quilt the white areas and slanted lines for the hearts.

I was also thinking of the curved heart inside the hearts themselves. I'm not very good at FMQ, so I may have to draw them first! I'm good with the stipple! Maybe straight lines on the zig zag sections??

Robbi, for quilting hearts, you can draw them on freezer paper then iron them to the top and stitch around them. You can reposition one freezer paper template several times before the sticky gives out. :)

I think you could use a walking foot to stitch around the inside and outside of those hearts. It would require a lot of twisting and turning but the quilt isn't that big. Then some straight line or decorative stitch with your walking foot in the striped areas to fill it in a little. It's so sweet.
