But, we have a wreath on my back deck that my DH seems to want to leave up.

After Christmas I'm ready for it to go. It was down before New Year's eve.

My tree went up a week before Christmas, if that and came down Jan 2nd. Last year we only left it up until Boxing Day. My living room is small and having a tree up for more than 2 weeks makes me feel claustrophobic after a while. And the needles fall everywhere so it just looks cluttered and messy.

All gone...we did the inside this past Saturday...the outside stuff we took down before the snowstorm.

Dismantle and boxed but still sitting in the living room LOL Hubby is working tons of overtime and I cannot do stairs without carrying stuff then alone with my hands full.

MM - Mine was put away on the 1st. Your situation is different because you are not feeling well and probably a bit over whelmed. Your top priority should be taking care of your health while not over doing chores that need to be done. That tree will be put away eventually, but in the meantime.........take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon.

Yes -- took down on Epiphany!

Yes it's put away. But we only had a tiny one in the rv. Take care and get well soon!

Tree is still up, but all lights and decorations removed...

Tree is artificial and is still up. Rest of the decorations and outside lights are packed up. I like to do it gradually. And after reading Lynne's thread with the picture of her 25 totes, I am inspired to do some more culling as I pack things away.

Tree is undecorated and taken apart but still sitting waiting to be taken out to the shed. It was too cold and then the warm day I worked on getting all the outdoor stuff in before the next storm hits.

I think the whole mantra about bad luck if you haven't taked everything down by Twelfth Night is just a *motivator* to Get It Done. (Not to excuse houses still 'twinkling' in April.)

All indoor Xmas was gone over a week ago and today outside is going except for wreath on all three doors. It was too cold to do before. It's in the 40's now!!! Yesterday I walked at 19.degrees. This is the first time we've been above freezing since the week before Xmas.!

I took it down yesterday and packed it up. Dh carried most of it upstairs to the attic this morning.

Part of my decor is framed Christmas photos. Dh and I have done some sort of family photo every year since we have been married. I put one in a Christmas frame every year and add it to the collection. I didn't get one framed for last year and didn't get 2017's picked out. I still need to do that and pack up snow globes. I think just about everything else is done.

It's half done. I had unexpected guests over the weekend so was unable to finish it and have been working long hours as well.

The cure for bad luck for when there's a broken mirror is you bury a piece of the mirror in the full moon. I wonder what you do when your tree isn't done to neutralize the bad luck? ;).

Mine has been down, all decorations packed since the 6th. That's a little late for me, but it's a tedious job that somehow I just wasn't in the mood for. Outside holiday lights are removed, all is put away for another year now.

I do still have an outdoor wreath that I'll leave a few weeks yet. It's not Christmas colors but bronzes, golds, birds and pheasant feathers ;0) It's not dropping any needles at all, looks nice.

MM - pneumonia is a very good excuse. Don't worry about your delayed undecorating. I'm seeing outside lights and other things still out around town, you are not alone in leaving a hint of the holidays not taken down..

Yeppers. Simply because I'm lazy. LOL

I'll start on it eventually after work.

We have two small ones and both were just bagged in plastic contractor bags on January the 2nd and stored until next year. All inside decorations were stored as well. I toyed with taking down the outside lights and decorations but since my neighbors on the street kept theirs up I will wait until tomorrow to store those.

The kids, who decorated it in the first place, just took the decorations off the tree last night. It's still standing in the corner of the LR, soon to be taken out to the pond--where little fishies can find shelter in its branches.

No tree at my place.

Quite a bit of snow has been coming lately.

Lots of wind, most days.

And - COLD!!

Having no car ... it was a good time to stay at home, put my feet up.

Reasonably mild today ... little wind ... not snowing ... so hitch-hiked to town.

Operational ... on son's computer.

Enjoyed reading all the replies. Thank You. I'm just now starting to feel more like myself. I will do a little at a time. I usually love this time of the year, snow and all. But this year, I'm so looking forward to spring and summer.

donna, I hope your DH fully recovers soon and the problem was fixed. I hope he's not in to much pain. Sounds like you've had your hands full though.

Took ours down last weekend. I love having it up, but am also happy when it’s time to take it down. It always feels like a breath of fresh air to see everything put back and normal again. Ahhh.....so nice!

We didn't set it up until Dec 20th, and didn't decorate it until the 22nd. We undecorated it this past weekend, but have yet taken it down since we just found we are hosting a gathering tomorrow night.
