I'm looking at this floor lamp. I can get it in either 12" or 14" diffuser sizes and correspondingly sized shades. The wattage allowed is the same for both. Does it make a difference regarding how much light is thrown out into the room which size I get? My room is 160 sq ft area with 7' ceilings (not high). Aside from looks, is there any difference? edit: I'm getting the parchment shade.

I think you're right about the 14". Unfortunate the Wayfair site, where I plan on buying it, has a big discrepancy between the specifications and the part number,. No one there until Monday who can maybe figure it out. Some of it says it is the floor lamp and other parts of the info says it is the floor model. i plan on getting the aluminum. I already have a lot of black pieces and one more black might push it over the edge.
