Can you help me find a similar sconce?
Comments (3)Robert Abby Roderick is similar to the double, but with a rectangular backplate. The single version of the Roderick has a rectangular backplate as well so looks a bit heavier than the Sutton, but has the same cylindrical shade as the Sutton. Comments (9)Thanks for the tips, and Meg thanks for the contact info on the rug. I will try the e-mail address and see if that works. 8'x10'is a bit small though, for the room. The colors are so perfect though! Thanks Hilltop for the sugestions also. I have seen a few rugs with the darker palette, but what I like about the rug in the picture is the softer colors lots of ivory, with just a bit of gold accent. That is what seems hard to find, and that perfect blue! Many of the oriental rugs seem to be in a darker, more sage-color blue and/or to have lots of darker accents. I have a white room with white trim, with a medium-tone oak hardwood floor. I don't have the furniture for it yet, but plan to do silk draperies in an off-white champagne color, a sofa in a champagne color damask, and some chairs in that same very pale teal color in the rug, with some gold accents. That's if I can find the right rug! I did find this one online, but haven't checked yet on what sizes it comes in, and I do not like it nearly as well as Meg's find: I think the large size is going to be tough. I looked at a few of the big name rug makers, and only found a few that seem to offer rugs in the larger sizes. I found some larger rugs, (though not the colors) at Kalaty and Safavieh. If anyone knows of others that offer the larger sizes, let me know. Though I like the oriental pattern, my "plan B" is to go with a tibetan style like this: or this: though again, the size is a problem--can't find one big enough. If anyone has any suggestions/direction, I'd appreciate any help, Thanks!...See MoreHelp..Where can i find this rug smaller or similar?
Comments (3)Have you looked here? I didn't look at each one, but they have some beautiful options - I narrowed search by 6-9'round and black...so some of these might not come in 6'. good luck. Comments (2)Pratt and Larson will have similar styles, they are handmade so not a budget choice, but they make beautiful tiles. They also have many styles of trim done in the same finishes as the tiles. http://prattandlarson.com/product-category/relief-tile/bas-relief/ I just used this one on our fireplace surround in a Spanish style house http://prattandlarson.com/product/scraffito-g-5x10/...See MoreRelated Professionals
