Thanks guys for responding! I am off today to purchase one. I assume it can be mounted on the arm I currently have . I would love to have mine mounted on the ceiling, but too late for that. I have seen a kohler one in lowes. Does anyone know of a good one that can go on my existing arm? Thanks.

We have only the hand held on a slide bar, Memoirs by Kohler ~just installed in our new master bath. We didn't want multi shower heads or body sprays just as little as possible. The sliding bar works great for both my husband and me with our significant height difference. I never had a sliding bar before this and I just have to say they are wonderful, look pretty and very functional. I think I love it more than anything else we did! ...My feeling is that a shower head would not be a deal breaker in a house sale. I fell for that advice from our builder: "you better put in a jetted tub for resale", we did and ended up ripping it out 13 years later as it was a huge white elephant that we used maybe 10 times in 13 years. No one at least in our area wants them anymore, especially the young people who see them as something their parents did, lol. Horrors! Freestanding soaker tubs are the in thing now. No mildewed jacuzzi lines to worry about no huge floorspace wasted, use less water. We have water wars going on here with three other states and I had that on my mind when doing the shower. We purchased our home in 2003. The Delta Monitor single hand shower faucet broke inside (the cartridge assembly) and we went to Lowe's and to Home Depot. We called around and even called Delta. I got a very RUDE lady on the phone and said it had broken and flooded my bathroom floor and we had the water turned off. I asked about a lifetime warranty. She asked if I was the original owner and I said no. She said she had the part but I would have to pay the 76.00 for it plus S&H. She was very arogant and I said that people do not stay in a house long and that the lifetime warranty was very misleading. I told her before I purchased it from Delta I would hire a plumber to come to my house and pull out all the Delta faucets (I have 3 1/2 baths) and put in something that was better. She said she was sorry to hear that and in her arrogant voice said goodbye. My husband found the part 35 miles from our home. It was actually cheaper than what the lady at Delta said it would be. Nice product life for something that has a lifetime warranty but last only 9 years. Anybody else have this problem. I will never deal with Delta again.

That's what I had trouble figuring out, whether the diameters matched. I was chatting with an online faucet store, and the chat person said Kohler could not be used on a Moen arm. The Moen arm description says "designed for mounting standard 1/2" IPS connection Moen showerheads". The Kohler showerhead said "1/2 NPT connections". Are these the same things? Thanks for any tips.
