I don't have the eye for it and plan to do the plain white shiny subways in a limited area in mine, and otherwise something other than tile. Anyway, congratulations on your sink and faucet purchases. I saw the sink in your pix... looks great! I can't wait to see them installed, and to see you in FKB! (Is that Roxy showing the new range? Sweet... mischievous?) I also had to laugh at the roses on the cabinet with no top, b/c DH has been bringing me flowers since before we had our cabinets installed, to brighten up the space, and we've been putting them on the ugly temporary leftover counters. Comments (39)I just wanted to report that I went to Joann Fabrics and checked out the Diaper Cloth. I was very disappointed in it as it was not 100% cotton, but rather a cotton/ poly blend, at least that's what my store sells. I'm still planning to make washable non-paper towels and I think what I'm going to do in order to save money since these will be used only for clean up of kitchen messes and wiping sticky kid hands..is..walmart sells a 10 pack of 28×28 flour sack towels for 8$ ....cut each one in four gives me 4 ...14×14 ..so 8 dollors will yeld 40 of these. This is very cheap and cost effective for a fabric that's 100% cotton, absorbant, and bleachable. The size is right even if it should shrink slightly. Will only take minutes to run the edges off on the machine and will be fun for Amiee to do. I think I'll do 3 packs giving me 120 at a cost of 24$ what do you think?...See MoreAmazon order not received
Comments (18)A lot of the mess is the carriers fault. I ordered a kindle fire hd 10 from Amazon. It said it was delivered even though it wasn't. I called Amazon and they called ups. UPS asked a bunch of questions about my address and did I check everywhere a package could be left before I finally just asked them to call their delivery driver. I got a call back about an hour later saying that the driver still had the package and would meet me at a local Winn Dixie after he got done for the day if I wanted. I asked them to just deliver it the next business day instead. When they didn't,I called and they asked was I SURE that I asked that it be delivered? Uh,yeah,that's why you have it genius. She offered to have it delivered the next day. I just went to ups and picked it up myself. Amazon was very helpful. They followed up with me to make sure i got my package. UPS,not so much. Fed ex continues to leave my packages at my neighbors house despite explicit directions and a clear address marker. The regular USPS driver keeps putting my neighbors mail in my mailbox. My mailbox is a locking one,so I always get a stack of her mail with a little note from the mailman-"oops,please give this to your neighbor thanks." Also,I suspect that this time of year is nuts at Amazon's warehouses, and a missed item is easy to overlook. Not a good excuse. Comments (31)Arcy tell him he sure does have talent and skill! Amazing bowl. My husband used to do wood working and really appreciated that bowl. He lost his entire work shop and tools in the flood. He had planned to do much more once retired but now he can't. I told him to buy a couple of pieces of equipment and we could look at pawn shops too. I loved the beautiful wood products he made. I agree I can stare at the grain and beauty. I have not done macrame in ages! I don't think I could now with my hands the way they are. Did you notice the walls are 2 3/4" thick"? I actually own a couple of tract homes that were assembled on site....just like these. This one was built/assembled in 1959. They were set on a poured cement slab. This one is 1421 sq feet.
This one is 1689 square feet. Built/assembled in 1962.
They still sell log cabin kits online too. :0)

You can buy a shed and do the same thing, Tuff Shed has a lot of different styles and even a loft one that can be designed into a tiny house. Our neighbors bought a larger sized one to use as a camp on some land they have up north.
I think this red barn one is pretty cute and Home Depot crew are sure having fun with the log one
