1. Go to your account. Your orders. Find order missing item. Click on return or replace. and follow steps.

2. If you want to talk, Call # partst listed above OR

Scroll to bottom of main page. Select help. Select need more help. Select contact us. Find the order with missing item. Be sure to click on little square on left side by order. Follow rest of steps. You can select for them to call you back or you can select chat.

I hope it works for you. I paid extra to get a white elephant present delivered by Dec 7th. It did not make it and say to contact them if it hasn't made it by this Friday. Frustrating and I will be requesting shipping refunded. I'll probably keep the present and go buy something different if it doesn't get here in time.

I tried the chat option and would not recommend it. I received an empty envelope from Amazon delivered by usps but the chat lady told me that it was delayed in shipping (obviously it wasn't) then told me it had been delivered. She just couldn't understand that the product I ordered was not in the envelope. I'd try a phone conversation instead.

I have a full order, sent from 2 venders that I havent received yet either. One says it was delivered on dec 6, and when I check the tracking number, it was delivered to an idividual in an entirely different state. The second package, I have never been able to track, says number not in the system, and Amazon has on the tracking website that this package is probably lost. I have emailed sellers, and I have emailed Amazon, but, all responses are just canned responses and havent helped me at all. I am about to call too. I couldnt find a number to call, just a place for them to call me, which I would have used, but, that isnt really a very convenient way to do things. Hopefully, this can all get taken care of this week. Thank you to the one above that posted the telephone number.

I was about frustrated to tears last night. I got a new phone. I am technically challenged. It took me over two hours to download my bill apps because I'm trying to logon from on unidentified device. What a nightmare.

I can't figure out how to disable the automatic updates. Every time the phone updates itself, I have to re-enter and re-save all my user names and passwords. I need to borrow a teenager. LOL

I know this is off topic, but I thought I'd vent.

I was expecting something from Amazon to be delivered on Saturday via USPS, and got an email from Amazon saying that there was a problem with the address. I checked the order and everything looked right, but USPS reported that it was an incorrect address. I called Amazon and the woman I spoke with said that unfortunately they run into this regularly for weekend deliveries. USPS doesn't feel like delivering (too many packages, route taking longer than expected, etc.) and just uses that excuse to wait until Monday. Not that I needed it quickly, but why offer Saturday shipping at no extra cost if you can't honor it?

We order often from Amazon but we were less than happy about one of our last orders. It was Gift Cards which I will never order from them again. The cards themselves were in fairly good shape so hope they will work but.........the cards surrounding them, that has the amount on them were all twisted, bent and torn. I am so mad at myself for not just making a trip to buy them at a store here. I do not think it was from shipping either as the packaging was fine but of course not sure. I have complained in a couple of places but have not heard back. Good luck in resolving your issue.

Amazon Gift Cards are easiest to handle when sent electronically. You just need the email address of the recipient. You tell them what day to send the notifying email "card". That email will contain a link for the recipient to use to add the gift amount to their Amazon account.

It seems a lot of stuff gets delivered to the wrong address these days. Hope you figure it out. How does Amazon handle it if you don't have an honest person dropping it of? I know it's a pain to file a claim with USPS.

OT - but I am flummoxed - went to Marshall's one evening, bought 5 0r 6 items, checked out and discovered that night that they did not include a bottle of nail polish. Not such a big deal but it was OPI in a color I had searched for last year. Called Marshall's next morning and they looked all around behind the counter, but did not find it. Next day, I went in to return one other item, still no sign of lost item and even tho I had called and had my receipt, they said they would 'pull the camera playback' for that register and that time and get back to me! All that over a $3.99 bottle of nail polish! Many baffling things associated with shopping!

I ordered a pair of herb scissors that someone on here recommended. I got a message that it was "undeliverable." They explained that it was lost. Amazon refunded my purchase cost. I ordered a different brand with better reviews. I can only assume that the scissors punched through the mailing envelope and got lost in transit. I used the chat means to communicate, and they were very helpful.

If you chose the "CALL ME" option, and choose the most recent time, they will call right away. I shop on Amazon daily for work.

I've had nothing but good responses when I call them/and they call back.

A lot of the mess is the carriers fault. I ordered a kindle fire hd 10 from Amazon. It said it was delivered even though it wasn't. I called Amazon and they called ups. UPS asked a bunch of questions about my address and did I check everywhere a package could be left before I finally just asked them to call their delivery driver. I got a call back about an hour later saying that the driver still had the package and would meet me at a local Winn Dixie after he got done for the day if I wanted. I asked them to just deliver it the next business day instead. When they didn't,I called and they asked was I SURE that I asked that it be delivered? Uh,yeah,that's why you have it genius. She offered to have it delivered the next day. I just went to ups and picked it up myself.

Amazon was very helpful. They followed up with me to make sure i got my package. UPS,not so much. Fed ex continues to leave my packages at my neighbors house despite explicit directions and a clear address marker. The regular USPS driver keeps putting my neighbors mail in my mailbox. My mailbox is a locking one,so I always get a stack of her mail with a little note from the mailman-"oops,please give this to your neighbor thanks."

Also,I suspect that this time of year is nuts at Amazon's warehouses, and a missed item is easy to overlook. Not a good excuse. But my experience with them is that they take your word for it and do the best they can to rectify the problem.
