White or Cream for trim w/ Plantation Beige?

Comments (1)Beige vinyl is often a huge upgrade - there are a lot of people who would like to have your color issue! :) You can absolutely do white trim with the beige windows. If you think about it's really no different than if the windows were wood. Wood windows and white trim work out perfectly fine and so with the beige/white combination. Exterior is a lil different. White house trim with beige windows isn't always the cutest look. If you want light trim exterior, all you have to do is select a lighter version of the beige on the windows. You can go so light that it almost look white but the harmony is still detectable....See MoreWhite walls with beige trim color help
Comments (1)Ya know, I'm usually about options, but given what you've got planned there's only one *white* I think I would consider with Pavillion Beige SW7512. It would be an Ellen Kennon Full Spectrum color called "Snow". Mixed in ICI/Dulux Paint's LifeMaster in eggshell for all walls (provided they are not textured) and flat for all ceilings. (Link will open a new window) Full Spectrum Paints May cost you a few bucks more for FS color and two different sheens, but you're renovating the condo to sell it and you're sportin' a chic, albeit unorthodox, color scheme. The one-up of a full spectrum white with the beige trim using a high quality "green" paint would do nothing but help you pull it off and, well, literally sell it. You're trying to get a designer *look* so you may want to consider the advantage of using designer color to do it. Here is a link that might be useful: ICI LifeMaster Eggshell...See MoreFirst time post over here. . .Need MUCH help for exterior of home
Comments (20)i'm sorry. no, we have the brick picked out. i'm just wondering about the siding that goes on our dormers, etc. that house that i found in the above pic is about 20 minutes from where we are building, but it's the only house that i can find that has both white siding, white front porch, almond windows, and almond trim. i'm thinking now that i may stick with the almond trim that will go along with the windows, but then add an off white (possibly BM lancaster whitewash or something) as the front porch and siding color. that wouldn't be so STARK and stick out so much. i do love the black. i think it just looks so classic and of course, it looks wonderful with our roof color. our contractor said today that they are going to start bricking tomorrow. so, i'll be able to have a pic of the house with the actual brick on it, instead of some that i've applied from another home. thank you all so SO much for your opinions and comments. i need them! since i'm now a stay at home mom. . . .all my buddies still teach school, so i sit here and think about all these crazy decisions and drive myself insane! my sweet hubby says he doesn't care. as long as we stay in budget. . . .so he's not the greatest help!...See MoreTammy Maner
