Need Kitchen Flooring help in selection
Comments (3)I would want to know how LONG you plan on "living with" your kitchen as it is RIGHT NOW. The flooring *can be changed....but it should be done with a whole concept going. If you change out the flooring today (matching the EXISTING colours) then you are LOCKING DOWN your future colour scheme when you decide you want EVERYTHING changed. And yes, this happens MORE than you think. Please sit down and plan out your 7 year renovation "life". Figure out what the FINAL look will be (plan all COLOURS for all 7 elements in the kitchen) and then move forward doing each item one by one. If you change the floor today, you will probably find you will need to change it again before the project is finished....because the 'match' you make today will NOT fit your design/vision of tomorrow. Your flooring budget will then double because the planning didn't go far enough. If you must do it....find a colour that is VERY close to what you have now. It works well with what you have. You can exchange "like for like". The colour you have now is the best possible option you have....See MoreURGENT - Need Help for Selecting Paint Color for My First Floor Condo
Comments (7)I would make sample boards of colors you like that you can move around in your space and your light. Trade winds might look really blue in your space. I see your cabinetry as very warm like your current paint, while the gray furniture as cool. For that reason, I like the Accessible beige suggestion. Consider going neutral with more color in smaller space like powder room?...See MoreNeed help with selecting the Kitchen Floor.

I sure would not mix hardwoods in any house .The house in these pics was 600 SQ ft on the main floor and looked a lot larger ....See MoreNeed help with Backsplash and Floor Selection and Design!
Comments (12)the tile above would enhance the natural light you have. it's from Wayfair.com Armangansett 4"x4". I would choose a Midtone wood look tile for the flooring, a large format without much contrast. The cabinets are dark and you'll need a contrast. a floor tile as dark as your cabinets will show dust. Simple, quality is more attractive than trying to Notice all the different components. My opinion. Remember, you'll be Adding alot of Life's accesories......See MoreMrs. S
