I'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours - Mon Dec 18
Yesterday we were talking about cameras here so I wanted to show the zoom on my little canon power shot. This is a little point and shoot, fit in your purse type camera. But the zoom capability is incredible. I've been so pleased with it.

Comments (7)Yes. They are American White Ibis, which I didn't know existed. I simply saw birds flying over head in an interesting formation and snapped the zoomed in shot. Only later as I looked at the image did I see the characteristic long curvy beak, and then looked them up. Its pretty incredible detail for a quick focus and snap as the birds flew over. Comments (11)We had a smoothie and a shortbread cookie for lunch. The shortbread cookie is one that Terri_Pncw posted a few years ago. It's the first time I made them, and it's a keeper! The Smoothie is baby kale and baby spinach with fresh pineapple, bananas, kefir and whey and some frozen fruit. I still have my blender but we went out and bought a Harley Pasternak machine. 8 years agoIs he comfortable or not ! Haha. He is our part time kitty, don't know where he lives, he's here most of the time. Going to get him fixed after Christmas if we decide he's kind of neglected. He's so affectionate!
8 years agolast modified: 8 years agoAnnie, the zoom on the Canon Powershot is terrific. A couple of years ago, I was standing on a bridge in Bangkok and took a zoomed photo of a pond that was a block away. Later that day when I downloaded the photo onto my computer, I was so surprised to see that the pond was full of large koi. They showed up in the photo crystal clear and in vivid color.
