Effects of Acidic Soil near bulbs ?

last modified: 6 years ago

Thinking about redoing the beds that are on both sides of the stairs by the on the rear of the house.

Got some bulbs - Globemasters.

If I plant some compact Hydrangeas (Lets Dance) and potentially add alum. sulphate on these in early spring/late fall to keep the blooms blue, what effects will the surround runoff do to the Alliums ? It's my understanding as a general rule, bulbs just like neutral soil..

Heh, got one of those eeeks expression as I know the Hydra's will want to drink in the summer, and the Globemasters just want to sleep in a dry bed.
