I made my first one about a year ago and they were all impressed. I did not find it all that difficult. I used a recipe from American Test Kitchen: Long, slow, low temperature cooking and take it out before the center solidifies.
I am now ready to make another one. The problem is that the recipe is just too rich/thick and I will use two pie crusts for two cakes (Why is it called a cake and not a pie, cheese pie?)
Is there anything special about freezing one?
Can I freeze the raw mix or should it be cooked?
TTKMAWAN....
