OFM, my luck ran out!
Comments (4)Scratch that...Ijust found Lorsban for the meager price of $202.00 for 6.65 lbs. Imidan is available on ebay for $85.00 for 5 lbs. Which is better (pros/cons)? I'd like to hear as much feedback as possible. Obviously Lorsban must be better to be able to command such a monumentally higher price than Imidan unless of course the mix rate is lower. I'll check that....See Morewhat to do now, blues, tres and hosps?
Comments (6)Lisa You will be losing sleep and pulling your hair out before this is over. I have not worked the last few years so I do nothing but watch out the window during nest building. I have seen these situations more than once. This year I am working and can only hope while I'm gone tragedy will not strike. Running out screaming and waving at hosps is always a good tactic. LOL It does work. First Keep trying with the drst. The natives will not go in it again after they get caught. The titmice always bite me when I let them out. So cute! I like to put it near a brushy area where the hosps hang. Next shoot at them with the bb gun every time you see them at the box. You will find out they are very smart. Even if you don't hit them you can sway them to another box by doing this. I would try to notice where they are flying in and out of your yard from and situate the drst there and also put another box with a 1 1/4" hole near there to see if I could entice them to switch boxes. Then let them get comfy and keep them busy. Then use the Van Ert. Of course like all traps it still must be monitored as other birds fit through that hole. You have to stop feeding the other birds or use only safflower seed when using the drst. Once they get busy nest building for real they will be more apt to eat from the trap. Keep us posted on your situation and your sanity. Any questions don't hesitate to ask. Good Luck Cathy...See MoreCat made a mess....help
Comments (8)Poor kitty, I hope he feels better soon. I think you will be surprised with the results if you can find Carbona Shampoozer. The pet stain version comes in a yellow plastic bottle. The regular version is in a red bottle. Both have a top with a sponge surrounded by a bristle brush. (Be sure to unscrew the top first and remove the inner cap liner...took me a while to figure that one out) If you can find the pet stain version, the red bottle works as well. You shake the bottle, squeeze out the foam and rub it into the carpet. I usually use an old towel to rub over the carpet. Keep going till the stain is gone. Let it dry, then take an old hairbrush (I like the kind with the metal brush thingys with the little balls on the end) to separate the rug fibers. I had a dog with diarrhea and this stuff was the best. I now use it for cat vomit. Why do they always pick the rugs?...See Moreravencajun...I hate to call you out...but
Comments (17)I would suggest Avast but what do I know since my ASUS PC now appears to be bricked due to this virus. I started full scans of my spyware/malware programs last night to try to identify and clean out this virus, which I also got in the course of a recipe search, apparently from the Food Network. Unfortunately my son got up this morning, saw my netbook sitting there with the clamshell up, thought I'd left it on by accident, and shut it down. Now it won't boot, not even in safe mode. I know the winlogon.exe file was corrupted and had scheduled a boot scan in Avast, but what it does now is cycle constantly between the blue screen with a message that flashes past far too quickly for me to read it, and the windows boot screen. It never comes up. Since it was shut down before I got up this morning, I also didn't get to write down my XP license number, so even though I have access to an external DVD and an XP installation disk, I DON'T have a valid license # to enter. I fear my netbook is bricked, all because of a recipe for apple streusel pie....See Moreglenda_al
