OT....What do your coffee table books say about you?
Comments (18)I would like to make it clear that the reason I don't have a coffee table is because of lack of space! I have gone for a nest of tables in my small sitting area. I used to have a lovely glass topped one which was given to me when I lived in the UK but I had to leave it behind when I moved back to Australia. I used it for pot plants and put it where it would catch the sun,,,so still no books on it! Woodnymph, you could be right about the glue. The worst dog damage I had was when one of my deerhounds decided to tear open a couch to make a nest of the filling to give birth!...See MoreWhat do you think of adult coloring books?
Comments (99)I did a new piece yesterday using crayons, I like how it turned out. Unfortunately my crayons are Crazart brand which are extremely cheap and it shows. I already had those which I had for a previous project. I might get a better quality crayon. I agree I am sure that the more expensive special pencils would be much easier to use. I will consider getting better tools if I think this hobby will last. So far I am enjoying it. I too wish we had a place we could discuss it more and show our work for comments and suggestions. I don't do FB but I have read that Angie Grace group and enjoy the pictures. Maybe we could ask for one as a sub forum for KT, like some have the conversation sub forums. We could have a sub forum KT Hobbies discussions,or something like that. That way it could include all varieties of our hobbies from art, photography, writing, animals, what ever your hobby is....See MoreAdult coloring books
Comments (27)Thanks Donna, the blue butterflies one I did in honor of my mom. Soon after her passing I, my sisters and my niece had some very interesting and touching blue butterfly experiences. Lisa how fortunate for you that you were introduced to the coloring. I first saw the use of coloring as therapy when my mom broke her hip. In the recovery facility they used it to help them relax and focus on something other than their pain and situation they were in. My mom enjoyed it very much even though her hands were twisted and deformed by Rheumatoid arthritis she was able to do some very pretty work. I am glad I decided to give it a try. Interestingly enough as a child I was never really into coloring and was not very good at it either. I feel your addiction pain lol....See MoreFree coloring pages
