'Mme. Lambard' (and other roses) In Tough Times

We collected this rose in an old cemetery, to begin with. Through spring and early summer, she mildews some, but I would never, ever give her up.

I took this photo this morning. This bloom has been opening for the last couple of days, through 50 mph winds, low humidity, and smoky air -- and there it is to remind me that beauty endures:

She's opening more buds, too . . .

Then, there's "Moser Pink Stripe" which is probably a very good clone of 'Rainbow':

And 'Eugene de Beauharnais' (who is waking up after the summer heat:

Finally, another slowly-opening bud from the mysterious 'Sui Mei Ren':
