Do you decorate with Buffalo Check fabric?
Comments (3)I was just snooping ( I mean browsing!) at some high end real estate listings and saw a lot of Buffalo check. Mostly in bedrooms. I have some valances in my slightly french country kitchen that I got from Country Curtains. http://www.countrycurtains.com/shopping/search/searchresultsmain.jsp?fresh=1&searchType=advanced&iMainCat=0amp;iSubCat=0amp;attribute14=0amp;attribute15=0amp;attribute16=0amp;RS=1&keyword=buffalo+check&fromView=1&viewProduct=1860 Check out this link when you have some time to kill: Here is a link that might be useful: Sea Island real estate...See MoreSuggestions for red buffalo check drapery fabric?
Comments (3)Waverly has a barn red gingham check fabric. I have it as a shower curtain, on a wing chair and several throw pillows. I just found it on etsy.com- called Waverly Country Fair in Crimson. It is not all a pink, rose, or bright red. It is definetely a barn red and I have Waverly paint that matches it perfectly in my guest bath....See MoreBuffalo Check (black and red) decor.
Comments (24)Funny, I just got a sample of black and cream buffalo check from Country Curtains for a valance in my kitchen. If it's trendy, I didn't realize it. Or perhaps marketing has seeped into my consciousness without realizing it. I like cheery kitchens, and nothing says cheery like yellow and white check. Given that I'd have to order cafe curtains and then shorten them, I may make my own as I did for what I have now. Even I can sew a valance....See MoreYellow gold buffalo check- is it seasonal?
Comments (4)Thanks ya'll! I love the idea of using the wool throws and pillows in the cooler months! And Toile has always been a favorite of mine too! In fact a toile pillow would be a great idea for my chair that's across the room to bring in some of that color. May take a look at Etsy since I don't sew. Thanks for your ideas!...See MoreMelissa Gallagher
