I wonder if the frequency would go down if the shooter's name were not mentioned or if we did something else differently in the coverage of these events. What was once rare is now regular; it's hard to stay perpetually horrified.

This is how de-sensitized I've become to these events. My initial reaction was "only four dead this time". It's like these mass shootings have become our new normal and we pause for a moment and then just go on about our business.

How many have to die before we say, "enough is enough?"

Haven't heard this on a major news source yet, but don't doubt it -- how sad is that.

I think media and everyone should emphasis that these people are COWARDS. I don't care about their views, beliefs, mental state or mental health. The one thing all these COWARDS have in common is their despicable COWARDNESS. Shooting at people who can't defend themselves. Not a fair fight. COWARDS.

COWARDS is right. I will never understand how anyone could kill a bunch of their fellow human beings. I'm thankful that God has to judge and not me. I would have NO mercy. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost their lives at the hands of that COWARD and to their families.
