Strange looking leaf
Comments (3)Thank you Jane. I did peel it off. You are right. I could just leave it and the new leaves will push it up and out but I think the new leaves are happy to be free. Am trying to see if there's any sign of a spike but none. Just a lot of new leaves and million of roots!! Roots grow everywhere! I don't know if that is normal or not but I will just have to let it be. I brought this up a while ago but most friends on the web told me "be patience. Growing roots is a good sign too", so, I'll just be patience and see what it will do for me next.... Tanie...See Morenew branch growing at right angle
Comments (1)You can use stakes to gently train it and support it. Don;t force it to grow in another direction just gently coax it. I have 2 that are doing what yours are. I have a friend you takes cuttings from hers when they do this and roots them. I will probably do the stake thing with mine. A Jeannie Moragne and an Aztec Gold are doing this. Comments (8)Hi digger, I always use a rooting hormone on leaves or whole babies that I take off. Just to give it an extra chance of making it. It has been awhile since I did just a leaf and I can't remember exactly how I did it but I'm thinking pulling it off might be better. I like to start with the babies...they usually root super easy. Have fun experimenting......See MoreNew cutting just stopped growing!
Comments (7)I have it indoors in a grow tent with 600 watts, 6 inch intake fan, humidifier, and it's on a timer set for 14 hrs...just bought a thermometer yesterday and it's a steady 100 degrees in there but with great air circulation...was beginning to think it's too hot but then its plumeria were talking about...someone told me try repotting in new soil...thoughts?...See Morerobinswfl
