Comments (10)Jim, you got that right. We have a killer goose in our neighborhood. The pair wants to nest in our flower beds and if they do you cannot go out the door until they are gone. He will fly right at your face. We had an 85 year old resident chasing one down the street while trying to get her mail from the box. I warned the mowers to watch our for him and they laughed, said he would be afraid of the mowers. Ha! He drove looking backward because he was after them. This is a better guest. He was half tame....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Nov 10

Comments (8)Yes, that is the ship that we were on earlier this month. If you look above the row of life boats (orange covers) everything above that line are balcony cabins. Also balcony cabins (5 decks) at the stern. Above those cabins there is a open deck and a small pool, of course with a bar. In the center of the ship, a large pool (bar and Mexican buffet) with a retractable cover. At the highest point at the front of the ship is another open deck (with a wind screen to protect while under way) and beneath that is "The Crow's Nest" with a great coffee bar, library, dance floor and lots of chairs for reading and relaxing. A closer view of some of the balcony cabins....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Nov 21

Many of the town founders are buried there. I suspect those trees may have contributed to the street name; It is Maple avenue. Those trees are over 100 years old and some have died. Storms occasionally topples one of these trees with monster trunks, and when that happens, tombstones are damaged or wrecked. Old cemeteries I have visited that have endured the best are devoid of deciduous trees. A few shrubs and certain evergreens seem to endure without causing a lot of damage....See MoreDawnInCal
