No Thanksgiving over here but enjoy your day and parcel up the leftovers for us 'over the Pond'.

Kathy......the family has decided to have our Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday since I have some horrible hacking cold and frankly few of them wish to have me at the table at this point !! Reference: Typhoid Mary .

What the Bishop Saw -- Vannetta Chapman

Vee - Stinking Bishop Cheese sounds amusing. Is it any good? Or is it actually stinky? By the way, I once spent Thanksgiving in the UK, working at my company's London office. My co-workers found a pub that was serving a "Thanksgiving lunch" and drove me there to make sure I had some turkey and dressing. Not quite the same as I was accustomed to, but their kindness was much appreciated.

Yoyobon - Sorry to hear you're sick. Hope a lazy day has brought you some improvement. I was goofing off because my sister-in-law cooked the entire dinner - said she was enjoying her new kitchen and didn't want any help. She was a little concerned I might be offended, but I wasn't at all. Suited me fine!

Camembert: Village de Normandie - Jean Gaubert

Kathy Stinking Bishop isn't too wiffy, nor does it burn the roof of the mouth as so many 'strong' cheeses do, but a little goes a long way.

BTW Black Friday is being pushed here for no better reason than to make megabucks for Amazon et al! Had never heard of it a couple of years ago.

Yvonne I hope you are feeling better. Turkey soup will soon put you right.

Phoebe - This segment of our book-title game ended when November ended. (We do this rather unofficially, but that's how it works.)
