Bunny Williams on Moment of Luxury
Comments (5)Thanks Jim... I enjoyed the 'tour of Bunny's Home' & her fabulous gardens. She's always been an inspiration to me and I've always loved her sense of style. I love how she creates warm, eclectic groupings, which I find are never boring. When DH & I lived in NY, one of our favorite drives, especially during the Fall, was up in Litchfield County, through Sharon, and Cornwall, CT. We loved the surroundings and beautiful homes, just like Bunny's. Now that we've moved to CT, we get to enjoy those surroundings every day! Gee...I wish I knew how she kept the deer away from her beautiful gardens!! lol jane Here's a little extra on Bunny that I thought you might enjoy.. Here is a link that might be useful: Interview with Bunny...See MoreBunny plates...but not bunny tiles
Comments (45)Sigh, I just love bunnies! I did dd's nursery in a bunny theme using Susan Turner bunny bedding, and I still haven't taken down some of my Easter decor. I think those plates are just the sweetest, and hope you find them. Thought you might like this....ds made it in second grade art class and I put it out every year for Easter (much to the chagrin of his now 16 year old self! :) ) I often keep it out until Fall...love it so much....See MoreSherwin Williams wall color for north facing kitchen and living
Comments (15)That’s exactly what I’m looking for-warmth without going yellow. I’m sure you’ve read about the northern light adding a chilling effect to the room. What’s the reason for not using BM? My contractor said they prefer BM but would be willing to use a different brand if we wanted to, and I am having a hard time selecting the main color in BM (I have tons of sample paint already). SW has paint consultants that charge you to come out and help select your paint colors and then reduce that charge when you buy the paint. I haven’t heard of that with BM so I am trying to hire a paint consultant to help me. Or hiring an SW consultant and just have them match the BM paint to an SW color. Paint is a big decision! I’m putting in a white oak flooring as well....See MoreBunny Williams: Not a House but a Home
Comments (11)I have been to that home shown in the beginning but not inside. Several years ago the owner offered up his property for an open gardens tour. We were able to walk into his greenhouses and see his plant collections and gardens. At the time he had a small vineyard on the property. We got a tour and then they took us up to the barn on a hayride where the wine is and he had lunch waiting for us. We spent several hours walking around the property. It was a beautiful day! She has great style, very tasteful....See MoreFun2BHere
