@susan - I walk my niece's dog during the week and there is a fellow who walks with a cane who walks his elderly dog who is quite large. They do a little walk and then sit on a park bench with the dog's head in the fellows lap while he reads. It is just the sweetest picture. My heart just breaks knowing that someday one of them will be left behind.

It looks like the dog pushed the blanket to the other side of the couch so it doesn't start to smell all "peopley" :)
