Here are some. The first one is when the top looks healthy, but the leaves toward the bottom are starting to turn yellow/brown (they then curl and die).

Raspberries hate wet feet. If the soil retains too much moisture (too much clay, not enough organic), then they just won't be happy.

my raspberries show the same symptoms every year but still produce tons of fruits. They are very susceptible to heat and dry weather. Also the first year they tend to do a lot of underground growth investing their energy on new roots. You will see many more new canes growing next spring.

The text description and the photos make this hard to pin down. The only picture showing anything out of the ordinary is #4 with the curled leaf, showing a lack of water or a root problem (basal leaves in caneberries often wither and die). Once a raspberry leaf dies, a new one will not form to take its place. You must be referring to new cane growth. If no canes have gone limp (borers), then the problem is likely in the roots. Too much water early on may have rotted them; the problem does not show up for some time.

I appreciate everyone's reply! A lot of knowledge here! Anyway, I am sorry for the pictures. I took them on my other phone (which I sold). The pics were then downloaded from Google photos so they lost a lot of quality. I ordered some new plants the other day. I plan to build a raised bed to see if that will help. The plants get mostly sun with a little shade. We had a very dry summer, but a wet spring so that could have something to do with it. Additionally, I was told (when I first got the plants) to fill the whole I dug full of water and then put the raspberry plant in it and water it more. Was this good advice or could it cause the roots to rot?

The problem with saying that they are over watered (and they could be) is that I have some blackberries that rarely ever get watered. They looked good up until a month ago then the same thing happened to them. They are planted a ways away from the raspberries too in a total different spot. Different soil too (the area where the raspberries are planted gets mulched every year or two and has been for the last 10 years).

Blackberries can tolerate a lot of wet soil, so I don't know what is wrong with yours. The raspberries should be initially planted in damp soil, either naturally damp or dampened deliberately ahead of time, and then watered only if the soil where planted gets dryish. Transplants of many plants do not need to be drowned in water if: The soil is damp (and workable) and care is taken to press down the soil and not leave airy pockets in or near the roots. The whole transplant process should result in a slightly raised area near the plant so that natural settling will result in a nearly level area, rather than a depressed area that collects water.

A dryish potted plant can be dunked in water, pot and all, until air bubbles stop rising. The plant can then be planted in damp soil without additional water.
