I Googled BM Pale Oak and see it is a pretty warm color that wouldn't go well with satin nickel. I think non-shiny brasses and bronzes could work well, but again it depends on other aspects of the surroundings too. Search for photos on houzz and see what catches your eye.

I chose Round...if they loosen up a little, they won’t get wonky like the square. Constant issue with my square rosettes in my last house. Although I have to say that I do not have that issue much with this hardware which is Emtek compared to my last house..Bravura.
