Which flowering vine should I pick to grow up my pergola
Comments (12)Hi Bougainvillea is fantastic, nothing will flower more for sure. Come in many colors as well as doubles and chageable colors. I've heard of thornless varieties but have never found one. Sand paper vine is the one vine that has no negatives. Flowers almost year around spectacularly twicw a year. The white and double flowering types I found to be far less vigorous. You might google Thunbergia .at least 25 vining members of the family. Way too aggresvive for me . I recently located a T. mysorensis which seems to be easily controlled but has not flowered so far.. It's being over run by blue pea vine and is shaded. Might do the same for Jasminium family at least 50 species not to mention at least as many hybrids. My favorites are the Madagascan types If you want something to baby and worry about you might consider New Guinea trumpet vine or either the Green or red jade vines. Worlds most spectacular vines but oh the drawbacks lol. Very cold sensitive for starters. gary...See MoreWhich desk should I pick?
Comments (18)Of the two, my vote goes for the PB one without the hutch. Do check not just the height of the desk, but the depth. I find deeper desks to be most practical as you can set stuff along the back and still have space to spread out on front. One thing that would bother me about that desk, is there is not storage for files. Also, if you need to store paper and/or legal envelopes in the drawers, I'd check the inside width of the drawers to see if it can accomodate that. If you are open to other choices, I've seen similar vintage desks to the PB one on CL. They are usually vanity desks with very pretty lines. Here is one below that I would love in my bedroom. Here is a link that might be useful: CL Vanity Desk...See MoreWhich curtains should I pick?
Comments (11)The wall color looks more yellow undertones than tan (like the beige curtain), so it clashes a little on my screen. That may not be so in real like though. I think something in that light linen/flax coloring would look nice. The white pops a bit more but may not go with the rest of your furnishings as well....See MoreWhich area rug should I pick? Comments (8)Sonam, you are probably correct on the size. Rugs make a jump in price once you go over 8x10. If you are concerned about color or quality, you can always order a small size rug to check for both. Then if you have to return it the cost and effort is minimal. Dragging around an 8x10 is like carting a dead body. LOL...See MorePensacola PI
