I'm never convinced you can make a small space feel bigger with paint. We have a small bath that has a white tub, white shower curtain, trim, toilet, etc, and painted the walls an almost-black green. I love it. It's small, and there's not denying it.

My problem is one bathroom hs a blue tub and one has a green.

IMO bathtubs are cheap replace them now while you are doing the floor.

Corrine, Do you have photos of the rooms? I know the Color So chic! is a brilliant choice for smaller bathrooms, I also use the color Crisp Muslin

Sorry, i thought i had attached them. There is nothing wrong with the tubs other than their color. Given the amount of the master bedroom and kitchen remodel- i can only do paint and floors at this point.

Not sure what the problem is, since I see that same green and the blue in current contemporary paint chips & palettes. How bout a beigey-greigy from your wonderful vintage floor (for the green tub) and something blue grey out of the bathroom countertop for the blue? Go midtone to darkish (but not super-dark) for the walls, and possibly paint or stain the cabinetry. Maybe not your perfect dream colors but you know what.... I just found from many years of living in rentals (prior to current house) that once I stop fighting what the room has in it and what colors should go with whats in the room and cant change.... it actually looks not bad. Maybe I even like it!

Pick colorful shower curtains you love. Then use one of their colors for wall paint. Or use the same off white as the other off whites in your new house. No one looks good with bright green paint reflecting onto their face in a bathroom, so keep any green pale as a ghost or midnight forest green if you prefer drama.
