Stacked corner wall cabinets

Hello, I wanted to know if any body knows any cabinet manufacturer that has corner wall cabinets that can stack up to a 9 foot ceiling, so far all the manufacturers have up 42 inch, but no smaller height like 12inch or 15inch, that cab stack on top of a 42inch or 36 or 39inch without having to do it custom. So I wanted to see if any body know a semi custom cabinet manufacture that already has this option, before i start looking into custom cabinets.

I'd suggest using an EZ-Reach corner, rather than a diagonal corner, if that's what you mean. Then for the cabinets above (in which you'll probably store infrequently used items), just void the corner.

Get out of the cheepchinesecrapola and buildergradegarbage and into an actual mid grade line and they all have plenty of sizes to stack from 12” up. That is one of the true tests of if you’re dealing with a true mid grade line, actually.

Can you please post a layout plan of the proposed remodel? Are you making a diagonal work corner--including countertop? If not, triangular spaces make for odd spaces so will you be closing the countertops with cabinetry at ninety degrees with access into the corner spaces? It is important that you follow the LG's required space for the surrounds of the units. You might also allow for future widths should you change brands or said brand has a changed units and surround dimensions. There is no reason that a diagonal setup will not work unless you have a requirement of a 180 degree door swing on the units.

I think front is asking about uppers. I have 2 easy-reach uppers in my kitchen, and I love them - tons better than the diagonal uppers I used to have. I wanted to get to the corner space. My Mom had a blind corner in her kitchen, and made good use of it. Her house was built long before someone came up with the easy-reach idea. She was able to reach part-way into the blind part, and put things in the back she rarely used. I think the decider would be how big the adjacent cabinet is, and what you plan to put there. I can't remember your dimensions exactly, but if you can eliminate a 12" upper cabinet with either option, you will come out ahead.

At each stud, if necessary, slide a shim between the rail and wall until the rail is straight, then screw the rail to the studs through the shim while it's level. Clamp the top cabinet to the bottom, check for alignment, then screw the top and bottom cabinets together. Hanging the ganged cabinets on the lower cabinet rail only should be fine.

Tihun If you really have 8' ceilings like you originally posted, your ceilings would be 96" Somewhere else you say you have 92" Which is it? Beverly, and others, could the OP lower the uppers to 16" rather than the recommended 18"? I'm not a coffee drinker, but I would think if it would solve a huge kitchen layout problem, a person could get a shorter coffee maker. I just glanced at some, and the tallest one I saw was 15". There were others in the 12" range.

I did a custom easy reach cabinet. It's so much more useful than a diagonal one. You can put lazy Susans inside the corner if it's very deep. Mine is 28" deep.
