Comments (106)Hi Viking, You have gotten a really big head start on the rest of us. My tiny zinnia seedlings are just beginning to get their first set of true leaves. Your seedlings in the white pot are stretched up much too far. Zinnia seedlings need quite a bit of light when they first come up. Our safe no-frost date here is debatable, but I am planning to put some stuff out the first of April, or a little later, (hopefully I will not be the April fool) with the idea of giving it some frost protection if it needs it. Which it probably will. The first of May would be less risky, but I want to push for an earlier zinnia bloom this year. This is a picture of my page on Photobucket. You will notice the terrible arrows I tried to draw, pointing to the code you need to copy. This screen should look the same as yours: That is the HTML code you see when you hold your cursor over the photo you choose. This is a shot of the picture when I double click the photo, it opens the photo and these boxes appear next to the photo. Same thing, just click the HTML box, then come here to Garden Web and paste in the body of your post...as I am doing: Try it, you should find it easy. Comments (2)This is how I do it but there are many other sites that can be used. I have a free account at http://photobucket.com/ for images. I usually resize the image to no bigger than 400 x 300 for forums before I upload to photobucket - you may be able to do this in photobucket now but I never have. After the image is uploaded look for "share this image", copy the "html code" and put this code into the orchid forum message you are creating. The image should show up when you click preview message. Comments (50)I like the simplicity of the GW basic black-and-white format (and hate the recent incursion of ads/ color around the edges). I find the formats of other garden forums I've looked at to be too 'busy', distracting from what I want from a garden site. - i.e. to talk gardens and plants with other gardeners. I like and use the text emotion conventions, such as :-) , but don't like the colourful icon ones. Being able to upload multiple pictures from your computer would be useful, although I don't find it particularly inconvenient to use a photo hosting site since it keep some of my garden photos on one anyway....See More- 9 years ago

I wonder if the file format or size is the issue? I just uploaded this smilie GIF with no problems.

So here it is straight. I couldn't add this with the photo uploader from another website, but I saved it to my junk file and had no problem uploading it from my computer. They probably disabled the web loader because of bandwidth or their own copyright issues. I only upload other people's photos if they get a commercial benefit from it--this is advertising for this sugar sieve.
