What color is your wood work?

It's a total remodel, so there is nothing in the bedroom . Our floor is the distressed white oak, the one in the back

Seems a nice floor.

C. Lace for ceiling, yes? and trim anywhere? Is there a fireplace in view, or cabinets?

Or chandeliers, etc....?

Just simple bedrooms. Still deciding the trim color. And our contractor suggested the strip white (untinted one as he said) to have contrast with C.Lace as it already is a very white white...I went to the store and tried to pair white dove with C.Lace and it actually look well too. One more warm, one for neutral. But is it gonna be too boring to paint ceiling C.lace and wall White Dove?

Thanks JudyG ! For our vaulted ceiling living room, we plan to paint CL flat for ceiling, CL matte for wall, is that gonna be too much if we also do CL semi gloss for all the baseboard and trims?

china white with Chantilly lace looks beautiful!

If you are doing Chantilly Lace on the ceiling do it flat . I used Chantilly Lace on my walls in a flat because I have a new home and they only do flat here for new homes. If your woodwork paint is oil Chantilly Lace will turn in a year to a softer white. Satin is beautiful in oil but not in latex. Latex for moulding should be in semi gloss in my opinion. If you have another room with your gray flooring look at china white with Chantilly lace... I have a lot of gray and china white looks great.

I don't know why you are selecting ceiling color before wall color??? I would pick your wall color, then ceiling or if you are doing everything light, just do all the walls and ceiling in flat same color and trim in semi-gloss same color. They will look just slightly different but will give you the most uniform, open, light look. The floor color is cool with the grays, so I would look for a cooler wall color. Perhaps SW Pure White or Reflective White.
