The doctor seems to think it will go away. I looked up some info on the Internet. I read where using mouthwash, smoking, alcohol, or caffine could cause it.The only one I use is the mouth wash. I have just started gargling with Scope mouthwash about 10 days ago before I go to bed. It seems to keep my mouth so smooth and wet through the night. I have had trouble waking up with a very dry mouth. So I started the Scope to gargle. I just read where it has 15% alcohol. Maybe...just maybe this is causing it. Thanks for writing. God Bless! I would be more prone to think he strained his vocal cord than damaged his trachea.While he does wear a collar,it's loose and he's never,ever tied.None of mine are,we have a fenced in yard with a doggy door.So they go in and out as they please.He seems a little better this morning,he's not squeaking anyway! LOL! He's still hoarse though.And he doesn't like his medicine! But he took it for me.It's liquid so easy to get him to take it.He's such a funny little dog,he's my clown out of the 5 of them! Now the other 4 have to go get their shots,it's that time of year...we will make 2 trips to the vet,2 at a time.It's easier that way.

Katy, Sure hope you enjoy that new Wireless Keyboard/Mouse. What Brand did you buy? I've always liked the Logitech Line the best. I started with the original Logitech 3 Button Wireless Mouse (still have it). My first Wireless Keyboard (not sure of the brand name) was Infrared and it was horrible, had to have it pointing towards the receiver at all times. I have the MX5500 Combo hooked up to my Desktop Computer right now, best Logitech has ever made (it's Bluetooth and has a great range)(very pricey, think it cost me around $170)! Once you've tried Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combos you'll never go back! BTW, Windows 10 Updates are nothing to worry about. They've been coming for many, many years and will continue to come. I've had a couple minor problems, but really nothing to get excited about. I have Windows 10 on 5 Laptops, 1 Desktop and 1 Tablet, all running great! It's good that Microsoft is staying on top of any problems! When there are just so many different varieties of computers out there with so many different components, you really just have to wonder how they don't have more problems then they do? You've really got to give them credit! Since you're going to Buy a New All-In-One Desktop, I'd just go ahead and get it with Windows 10 Preinstalled! I'm sure there won't be any problems with a New Computer w/Windows 10. Most of the problems are with Older Computers that are being Upgraded to Windows 10 and the older software that's already installed.

I've only had one cat that was bad about chewing - Angel, he was the worst. He chewed up an arm of DS GF's glasses (he bought her a new pair). He destroyed anything burlap (Christams tree skirts that came with RH starlight trees). He started in on a 48 star flag I had hanging in a guest room (another cat had destroyed a large part of one corner when he was on his death bed - cats tend to start eating things then). He also chewed on paper and cardboard. Wrapping paper rolls. Hardcover books left within his reach. Anything with a gauze like texture. Anything plastic, and he was allergic to plastic. He never chewed on cords though.
