Help finding a large square glass top coffee table?

Im looking everywhere for a minimum 42" square glass top coffee table. I would prefer a gold metal

base, but would consider painting a silver or any metal one.. if the price is right. So far, everything I find is very expensive. I have even seen some salvage companies online that make them, but havent seen a price yet. Any one have resources other than the usual ones listed here?

Given the budget you might consider two of the same coffee tables pushed together to create a larger coffee table.

This is 32" square, so 64" may be too much and would be rectangle. Yet, you can find tables such as the from a top view with double glass and place then up against one another. Depending on the room you could do two square and a bit of space between them if it's a very large room. I personally think it looks very pretty in the right room.

These are rectangle tables placed next to one another. Realize you want square. Just a visual.

Well you can purchase the glass top custom from any glass company, then you would have to find an object to act as a base, just a thought.

#1 is my favorite. #3 is okay but I'd worry about the glass being tippy (unlike #1 where the glass is contained in 3 spots). #4 would also be okay if you don't want glass. Dislike #2, 5, 6 and 7. Didn't vote on your rug thread but those two shown above are my favorites.

And you will not find it, that I can guarantee. It CAN be done similarly. Corsican Furniture. 48" x 60". Available in a gilded finish. You need a designer or design center with to the trade access. Get your glass cut locally is my advice: ) By the time the shipping is paid you will have a 1500.00 base for the table alone. They ship from California so location depends. .... Corsican allows customizing, and you could certainly enlarge to more. A designer with access can "design" a similar for you. Otherwise? Look for 24 x 48, simple lines, and BUTT THEM TOGETHER. Or......... get your metal accents elsewhere, and but two of these together: You will have 48 x 48 for less than 600 bucks combined.

I have in the past had a metal artist make a base and then had a custom top either made of wood or glass . I agree if the room can take it one huge coffee table is amazing. The other sitr is Cattelan italia they make some great coffee tables in quite large sizes and some interesting shapes.

I like the 4 tables they can be moved when you have a party and that space needs a large table so they work nicely > IMO the layout of the space is a bit odd since the seats facing the TV do not look comfy for TV watching but maybe the TV is not important to you.

Has to be square? Seem to be able to get all but one or more of your desires, in different combinations...

Thank you for all the help! I couldn't find my previous post with answers, but did finally! Yes, it seems I must be the only one looking for one or there would be more available at a reasonable cost. I think I have seen every one on the planet. May have to regroup my thoughts and go with a light colored wood. : {

I had the same problem carolinanana, I needed a gold/bronze one 55" square. I ended up finding a local guy that works with a foundry to make it. Ordered the glass top online. A bit of a pain but got what. Good luck.

wmsimons45.. I had followed your posts from time to time and remembered you looking as well, but never saw where you ended up getting one. thanks for answering. I may get frustrated enough to try that.

kulrn... the silver Marcia Square 43" happens to be the one I ordered in gold, that is now on long back order. I wonder how hard it would be to paint the silver one, gold? Anyone have thoughts on that? I am not beyond trying that for that price.

Porter.. I have considered putting 2 rectangle ones together, 2 square wont solve problem. I have 2- 6' sofas that have to sit at right angles. The coffee table I currently have used for 17 yrs is dark wood and is 42x48. One side always got the long side, and never looked balanced. When I decided to get new one to go with newly recovered sofas, I thought Id get a square one and go light and bright, so it didnt visually take up so much space. Didnt know it was going to be this hard to find.
