I cut the yoke straight, managed to match it not too bad, tried the "magic yoke" technique for the first time. So far so good. Then I put in the sleeves, straight stitch, then overlock, press to one side and top stitch along the body edge of armscye to secure. Lovely! Just one teeny, tiny problem. I just unpicked - 3 sets of stitching - and reattached it, but I've had enough for tonight. I'd abandon the whole thing, but I had a long phone conversation with the friend this is for earlier today and it reminds me that he is worth it. Just as well really! I'm just frustrated becasue I cannot find anything that I like. I was thinking of a chocolate brown buffalo check with a brick red coordinating fabric, but I cannot find a nice chocolate buffalo check fabric....See More1971runner
