First of the Season: Graffiti
Comments (15)Bloomingbulb.com currently has a 50% off pre-order sale for fall shipments of amaryllis. They don't have a stellar selection, but they do offer Graffiti for $4.28 a bulb. I haven't purchased from them before, so I can't speak to my experience with that company....See MoreMy first citrus: 4 Seasons
Comments (21)Cut that long shoot to the level of the general canopy; it is called a water sprout; and indicates you are treating your tree very well. For the Meyer best to cut off the fruit now to encourage the tree to grow; a lot of growers push the tree to make a few fruits for marketing; don't worry, even if not fully mature the Meyer lemons are already better than most other lemons; and the peel is not only thinner, but it is not bitter like other lemons....See MoreCl. All the houseplants are now safe and warm indoors. Everything else will just have to fend for itself. Most have already wintered an Arctic blast in the high teens in a previous garden and my current location has an even milder microclimate. I'm not too worried. But I guess my nasturtiums will finally stop blooming 🤔...See MorePeter Newcastle Aust spider mite breeder
