Comments (4)There is a red florist's rose called Charlotte bred by Tantau - that's probably it. Helpmefind has no pics but it seems about right. Very pretty bouquet, by the way! Here is a link that might be useful: Charlotte...See MoreNiece's Wedding Cake
Comments (20)Thanks all for the compliments. The cake is three round styrofoam disks, the kind you get at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Each disk is 6" in diameter and 2" high. The whole cake is 6" high, and I had to cut the top two "tiers" smaller. I glued them together with Mapei pre-mixed adhesive/grout, and then "frosted" the whole thing. Once dry, I E6000'd the iridescent champagne glass tiles, leaving space for the pearls and little porcelain flowers. I then grouted the whole thing, and, except the very bottom layer of pearls, stuck on the pearls and flowers. Once the grout had set up a bit, I popped the pearls and flowers off, and then E6000'd them after the grout dried. I then glued the cake onto the cake plate (DO NOT use Gorilla Glue for this, EVER!). Once I got that disaster cleaned up, I grouted the bottom seam between the cake and plate, and then stuck those pearls in. I ended up using different size pearls on the bottom layer because I didn't have enough of either size! It will be a surprise for my niece. I only wish I could be there when they open it!...See MoreMy niece's wedding; 4 photos

Comments (20)Thank you all for taking the time to reply - I've been so busy at work today I haven't had time to check back much. Re: the first green RL dress... I didn't think of to mention it earlier, but looking at that photo made me realize I don't wear or particularly care for that type of drapy neckline. I think it's probably because I'm fairly large busted, and don't need any more oompf in that area. :) I love the second green / black patterned one but it's probably not what I'm searching for for a June wedding. I also really like the floral one. I seem to be at a stage in my life where I second guess a lot of what I like, or I think I like - wondering "am I too old for that??" - but then sometimes I tend to sway too far to the 'safe' side and end up dressing too old. These are two more that I like.... the first is from ModCloth. Also comes in a deep sapphire blue. And I can't get a picture to load of this one, sorry. http://www.bhldn.com/product/eleanor-dress...See MoreLisa Adams
