The Big Day ! Gotta Share ......

All over ...my beautiful little girl went from Miss to Mrs on Saturday . I started posting here when she was in Grade 9.....she is now 30 ....so many here have gotten to know her virtually and some in person.
It was a wonderful weekend.
We started with a welcoming Pig Roast for 80 at the cottage . I coped out and had it catered just getting the property and cottage ready was enough for me !
The wedding itself was at a nearby lake resort, went off without a hitch. Lovely service, great food and lots of fun !
Saturday the weather was off and on , just as it has been all summer but the sun shone for the walk up and down the aisle, most of the ceremony , the walk down and the pics...so we'll take it

Comments (36)We made it home Wednesday evening. The truck is still packed to the gills as it has been pouring rain and this morning i fought snow flakes the size of fifty cent pieces. I don't want to risk her furniture getting water marks on it so we slowed down to wait out the storm. We are going through boxes that made it here via cars. The truck is parked at DD's house as it is too large for my driveway. The weather is supposed to clear by tomorrow so I have reserved a 10' truck to make smaller loads to my house/storage. MIL's car broke down on the way here. The altinator went out and all oh her DH's paintings were in the trunk and we had to transfer them on the side of the freeway at night. I'm getting ready to drive to Sacramento to pick it up this afternoon. My SIL gave me the worse cold I have had in years. Head and chest cold. Ugh. I'm tired. The good news? I just found out, after YEARS of peeing on myself on accident and seeing the doctors about it (who said what again? oh yeah. more kegals) that I have a prolapsed rectum. My intestines are sitting on my bladder and my pelvic floor can't handle all the weight. My docs (3 of them) have always said no worries, nothing wrong. It wasn't until I went to the colon/rectal specialist that I found out this was a physical problem. So, I think it's great if the Mangosteen is working, just, if it keeps up get an umpteenth opinion....See MoreWhen ya gotta go, ya gotta go!

Commiserating with you about the cable, etc. DH and I have spent most of three days here on Maui, grappling with Computer, Cable, BluRay, Amazon Prime for streaming. The condo association switched to Oceanic for internet; had them for TV earlier. They've failed twice in three days; next time they will send someone with a new gizmo. (Modem/router/whatsis) Take it easy. No need to do everything immediately. You aren't used to the weather. Wishing you many happy years in your Florida home!...See More
