Help with Master/Closet/Bath/2nd Bath/Laundry Layout
Comments (8)Our budget right now is $30k. I am not quite sure how much that’ll get me. I have never undertaken anything like this. This will absolutely be something we take on in stages. This space is what we’d like to tackle first and is the largest. In our kitchen at some point we will replace countertops and in our other bathroom we will swap out the toilet, tub and vanity. Luckily the rest of the house is functional for us. I lack the vision and knowledge that a lot of people on here have of being able to see a functional layout in disaster zones lol. My intuition tells me all these spaces can somehow be rearranged to give us what we need. I’m completely wrong, please help. Im also completely fine and understand if it’s impossible, financially or practically to have it all. I do have a consultation with a designer scheduled for this week (so excited), and I’m praying that she’ll have time to take us on as clients but I got excited and wanted to ask the Houzz community first. Thank you !!...See MoreNeed help with a master bath and closet layout.
Comments (8)I agree but I never want to walk through the bathroom to get to the closet, closet design is all about what you have to store in the closet . I have 100+ pairs of shoes so need a spot for them. I love my window in my walk in closet the natural light is great for putting outfits together and I also have LED lighting in daylight bulbs for the same reason. You can easily have a moveable island in the center but first change the way to enter the closet. That freestanding tub seems very close to the wall you need at least 12” there to be able to clean behind the tub....See MoreNeed help with master bath and walk in closet layout
Comments (2)Nobody can help from those pictures. Nobody can help without a floor plan drawn accompanied by all dimensions. More importantly, it seems you are ripping/ hacking up a house with no plan, no architect, no nothing . Not a great idea. Get an architect on board for the best result. ..........along with a certified KD/BD....See MoreNeed Help with Master Bed Bath and Closet Layout
Comments (10)I like the reflection you'll get from the window onto your mirrors above vanity. I like the semi-private toilet allowing 2 in bathroom. What about doing a built-in linen as suggested (more of a cabinet than a closet), which means no door needed. Then move door to the bathroom up near all the other doors. You'd need a different kind of door - it puts all 3 in the same spot and you'll have door swinging issues, but a pro here could offer suggestions on that. Would love to see photos. Bermuda - wow :)...See MoreNorm Sh
