I'd leave the study. The bathroom and closet are not much bigger without it.

First version: I think the problem with this layout is that you have so much wasted space in the middle --yet the two sinks are squished together, and you won't have any space for drawers in the vanity -- plus the shower door conflicts with the sink space.

The second is worse: Six doors in a bathroom, four of them in a row and all mismatched? No thanks. And the sinks still give you no space for storage or elbow room.

Here's a quick idea:

- The sink is immediately inside the door, which is good because it's the most used part of the bathroom -- and you have plenty of "work space" in front of the sink.

- You have a long wall, which I think is an exterior wall /would allow you to have windows over the tub and the toilet ... and would give you great natural light.

- The shower forms a barrier to give some privacy for the toilet without putting it into a problematic closet.

- You've lost the small linen closet, but the closet itself is much larger, so you'd have ample space for a set of linen shelves just inside the main closet -- and I like the idea of fewer doors to be in the way in a bathroom.

I'd leave the study. The bathroom and closet are not much bigger without it.

Can you post a pic of the whole area including what's at the top beyond the study?

How wide is the closet in the first version? If it's 5' wide it's too narrow for shelving on both sides.

Do you really want to pay extra for the bump out for the tub? Each bump out on the exterior of the house costs more.

Might I suggest you first post your full floor plan and elevations on the building a home forum? They might be able to help you reconfigure the space better.
