Yep, susan, here is a sunflower and it's bee. This approx. 4x8 spot where DH cleans out the bird feeders onto a weed dumping area out back has yielded a beautiful bunch of sunflowers. Some are at least 8 foot tall.

Still from Block Island On one day a bike ride we passed a group trail ride. Another day's hike took us right past a picturesque farm that had a couple of horses and a couple of cute mules (and a goat that was hanging out on top of his shed.) Also right next to the place that had the alpacas, there was a miniature zoo with animals from emu ... to zebu ... Some black swans... and a black miniature horse A llama and a zeedonk (half zebra and half donkey)

Aerial shots from the tiny plane we flew in while leaving Block Island: The Point Judith Lighthouse A sizable suspension bridge and shortly thereafter, what appears to be military planes at an airfield About midway through the trip the smaller camera that I used for these shots and in the underwater case while snorkeling, somehow got a piece on lint on the inside of the lens, which shows up as a fuzzy dark patch in all of the pictures. On many of the better pictures I was able to edit it out with a photo editing program, but it is a fair bit of work and it is rather annoying.
