Need help deciding paint color for new house!!

We are buying a new house. The standard paint colors offered by the builder are Frosty White(SW) and Divine White white(SW). I am attaching the picture of the selections we have made so far which includes cabinets color,hardwood etc.

I chose Frosty white for all interior walls and ceiling (that was the standard). Painting the ceiling white was an upgrade at an additional cost.Being on a budget, we did not consider that.

After finalising everything I am having second thoughts on Frosty white.I want a neutral canvas to begin with.

Any reviews on frosty white, is it too blue?

Or

Should I consider choosing an upgrade. I would end up changing the paper work for a fee and the upgrade cost (around $1300). Upgraded options are :Shoji White(SW), Agreeable gray(SW),Accessible Gray(SW),Softer Tan(SW),Kilim Beige(SW).

Appreciate your help on this!!

Don't pay for the upgrade. After you've moved in and lived with it for a while, you can decide if you want to change the colors. Painting is something you can do yourself if you're on a budget.

Agree with Miss CP... Don't bother with the upgrade. Our production home will be finished soon (week, week and a half), and we chose one of the "standard" paints.

Sooooo glad we didn't upgrade to a different color, because the builder used cheap, chalky, watered-down flat paint for EVERY wall and ceiling (even in bathrooms and the kitchen, argh)... I would have hated to upgrade the color, for them to use that God-awful excuse for flat paint, and still be stuck repainting the whole dang house.

I would pick a white. ( if you do go that route, don't pick the brightest white on the chip. You want an off white, that will read as non blinding white on the house) ANd have the shutters match the roof. Paint the door a fun color of choice. OR: do the house white. Shutters, door and the white line that is between roof and house ( don't know what it is called) a different accent color.

I think some of those laminates are mimicing level one granites; many have commented that level one granites were actually less expensive than the laminate estimates they got...not sure if that included installation costs. Do you live in an area where designers are readily available? Not all of us do....I found a tile store designer with A great “eye” who I hired to advise me on paint colors and other design input I wanted. I would consider painted cabs with your flooring choice since I am having a hard time thinking of a stain color and wood that would compliment. A darker, greyed-brown might work but the wood would have to be carefully chosen to avoid orangish/reddish tones.

Thank you so much @cpartist and @One devoted Dame. It's really helpful. I have been wrecking my brain thinking its gonna look all awful after looking at Color visualiser tool on Sherwin Williams website. But I guess it makes sense to live and then decide later, rather than paying an upgrade cost.
