Comments (7)Gorgeous pic! Many thanks. Yes, I need to see his face, too, but it's a start. I have since looked at the Professional Bullriding site pbr.com and they dont have his pic. But they do give his owners as Davis/Wilson. Sort of a dead end. This bull has been in every bullriding event in the last 6 months, so cannot really say where I saw him last, just dont know. Now that I have seen this pic, I realize that it is his LEFT side that is the prettiest. Let's see what I can do. Many thanks. Perhaps I could contact the PBR magazine too. Here is a link that might be useful: PBR...See MoreHere is a challenge for all of you........
Comments (58)ooooo aaaaahhhh, there are some great photos/hostas posted here. moccasinlanding, thanks! I had almost forgotten about posting here. Will try to check things out more often. I just can't afford to want any more hostas -- no space. lol! mac48025, the hostas in the pic are: Montana aureomarginata at top center. Francee to the back left, and Undulata Erromena to the back right. I think that's Heavenly Tiara to the front left of MA, and Dark Star in the foreground. This is the first year that the deer didn't eat Dark Star! :) There's a gorgeous Plantagenia behind MA that you can't see in this pic. :p luuk, I LOVE the single heart-shaped leaf photo!...See Morehere is a challenge - horsetail
Comments (1)Dear LG, Thank you very much for your inquiry. I do not consider myself an expert in horsetail, but my few experiences in gardens and turf have taught me this is one mean weed. It has a structure and biology that lends it to being almost impossible to eradicate. For my money and time, I would start with 1 of 2 methods for control. Either a 25% solution of vinegar (applied on a sunny day) or 2,4 D at a 1% solution. Both will need multiple applications and must be applied on sunny days. Best of luck. Again, thanks for the question and let me know if you have more. Respectfully Trey Rogers, The Briggs & Stratton Yard Doctor, YardDoctor.com...See Morepost your april challenge pics here: new growth!
Comments (11)Speaking of New Growth... here is my terrarium I put together. I don't know the names of all the plants, but I just love the one on the left. It looks like something from the sea. So I placed some seashells in there and a string of fairy lights. The terrarium is about 24" wide and shaped like a Brandy glass. There is stone at the bottom, then a layer of coffee filters, charcoal and potting soil. The last time I decorated it I placed a silver Christmas ornament in upside down so it looked like a gazing ball. I think I will keep the seaweed theme and add something nautical. Maybe a ceramic fish if I can find one. My iPad only lets me post one pic at a time so I'll post another pic separately. Again, this month I was planning to make marbleized fabric and then pillows out of the fabric, but still haven't got around to it. I ordered what I need and it's expected to ship Tuesday. So maybe for May's challenge......See MoreMarie Tulin
