Comments (13)Boat assortment from Block Island. View across the Great Salt Pond towards the Coast Guard station My wife's family always use to go to Block Island for their summer vacation, and were members of the Block Island Club where many of the family learned sailing. In fact her father orchestrated the first purchase and shipment of "420" sailboats that the club used. Here's my wife and brother-in-law taking a 420 out for a spin. Here's a race the club hosted, competing against a different sailing club, with 420's and smaller sailboats called "Optis" Here's a different brother-in-law in the boat that he (and part of his family) came to the island on from the mainland 10 miles away....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Wed Aug 03
Comments (10)I felt sure...with your appreciation for nature and beauty...that you had tried to help him/her, caflowerluver. My comment was more of a general nature...not meant to criticize you in any way. I just looked at him/her and wanted to rescue him/her. Those eyes talked to me. Too bad her supposed owner doesn't...or won't...take some responsibility for kitties health. If he/she was licking rain water to hydrate herself/himself...the cat is in need. So sad for such a beautiful animal. Thanks for adding more info calflowerluver. It's heartening to know you keep an eye on him/her....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Tues Aug 09
