Neighbor's cat licking puddles on the patio table due to heavy dew last night. Saw me through the window and posed for the next shot. He/she is pretty feral.

Beautiful cat but in desperate need of a good grooming. Those chest mats must be very painful. Feral or not...that pretty kitty needs love 'n attention...even if it's just to cut out those awful mats. Love his/her eyes. If he/she would pose so quietly...I think he/shes probably pleading for help.

I feel sorry for him/her and have tried in the past to approach but always runs away. The minute he/she heard me unlock the door this morning he/she was gone in a flash.

I felt sure...with your appreciation for nature and beauty...that you had tried to help him/her, caflowerluver. My comment was more of a general nature...not meant to criticize you in any way. I just looked at him/her and wanted to rescue him/her. Those eyes talked to me. Too bad her supposed owner doesn't...or won't...take some responsibility for kitties health. If he/she was licking rain water to hydrate herself/himself...the cat is in need. So sad for such a beautiful animal. Thanks for adding more info calflowerluver. It's heartening to know you keep an eye on him/her.
