I just got back from a trip to Springfield, Illinois where it's all Abe, all the time! Very interesting place to visit. I really enjoyed it. The building and obelisk behind Abe's head is his tomb. Very cool to tour. He, Mary Todd and 3 of their 4 boys are buried there.

Murraysmom....A man in my walking club is reading a book about Abe, just yesterday he was telling me aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall about him! Very interesting man. I had no idea people disliked him for the way he looked! Woooooow......

Grandson just graduated from computer training. He's in Pensacola, for now, at their Naval base. Hasn't gotten his orders yet where he'll go from there.

They had an interesting series of photographs of Lincoln from his first days in office to his last. It looked like he had aged 20 years in that short time. I guess fighting the Civil War will do that to a person.
