High Altitude Baking Question

Having moved from sea level - South Florida, I am now at 5000 feet in Fort Collins, CO. I just made my first batch of non-cannabis cookies as a test and they were no where near as dense as they should be. The original recipe is at this link.

Based on information from the King Arthur website, I increased the oven temp from 350 to 365 and cut the baking soda in half. Everything else was the same. I called the Baker's Hotline at King Arthur and spoke to someone who didn't seem quite knowledgeable about high altitude baking (she agreed with everything I said to fix the problem and offered nothing else - an extra egg or some milk.) So, I'm asking the experts here for advice.

Thanks in advance!
